ABOUT US

Our Mission
con Bolivia provides direct financial support to rural universities and communities in Bolivia which are addressing the educational, health, or economic needs of the indigenous poor.

Background
Begun in 2003, con Bolivia is the result of a desire by Suzanne Dulle and her husband, Juan Velasco, to create a “network of goodness” linking generous people in the United States to educational programs and grass-roots projects in Juan’s native Bolivia. Bolivia has the lowest GDP per capita in South America. However, it is a country rich in cultural and ecological diversity. Based on a belief that education is the best way to address poverty, Suzanne and Juan are linking generous individuals in the United States with Bolivian people in economically depressed rural communities. These people know what they need. Often times, they simply lack the means to make their dreams become a reality. con Bolivia helps generous donors connect to some truly transformational, grass-roots projects in Bolivia.

No Administrative Overhead
100% of all donations to con Bolivia go DIRECTLY to projects in Bolivia. Contributions are not reduced to cover administrative nor operating expenses.

Funding
con Bolivia gratefully acknowledges financial support from numerous individuals, private foundations, and the Delle Foundation, Bread for the Journey of Santa Fe, and the Capital Group Charitable Foundation.
