Providing educational opportunities for native peoples of Bolivia

con Bolivia (with Bolivia) is a small, not-for-profit organization which is dedicated to working directly with communities and educational institutions in rural areas of Bolivia. Through our organization, generous individuals and foundations are able to simply and directly provide support to locally based projects and educational institutions serving the needs of Bolivia's marginalized poor.

By personally meeting with and carefully listening to individuals working within their own communities and educational institutions, con Bolivia identifies worthwhile programs and recipients of its aid. Through this "bottom up" methodology, we are able to link the natural generosity of people in the United States and other areas of the world with Bolivians who know what is needed to bring about real and lasting change in their own country.

con Bolivia is unique because 100% of every dollar donated goes DIRECTLY to projects in Bolivia. All operational and administrative costs are borne by con Bolivia's founders.

What we do

Scholarships to regional universities
con Bolivia regularly awards full scholarships to deserving students from rural areas of Bolivia. Here, Gabriela, from the ancient Isla del Sol in Lake Titicaca, performs her practicum for a career in Nursing.

Support for thesis projects
con Bolivia provides funding to students for the completion of thesis projects, a degree requirement in the university system of Bolivia. Here, Gustavo works on a thesis project involving the medicinal use of local plants. More>>
